About the Badge The Quilted Garment Badge celebrates the creative fusion of quilting and fashion, encouraging Scouts to construct a wearable quilted item. This badge pushes Scouts to apply their quilting skills in a new way. It fosters creativity, skill-building, and experimentation with texture, structure, and design, resulting in a unique, handcrafted piece of clothing. Badge Requirements Choose a pattern for a quilted garment. Plan the quilted sections of the garment. Quilt the fabric using your preferred method. Assemble the garment using your quilted fabric, following the pattern instructions. Once completed, wear your quilted garment and take photos of the finished piece. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch. Vinyl Sticker The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
