The Top Plate includes an integrated dovetail lock and safety release, plus 4x ¼–20 screw-mounting points to secure the Top Plate to the camera body when quick-release isn’t needed. Build it out the way you want with optional Front and Rear Rod Brackets, Cheese Plate, Hook-and-loop Plate, and more, and slide the whole rigged plate on or off in one smooth sweep.
