Quest

The Quest Tarp: Reliable Coverage, Minimal Weight The Quest is a lightweight Silpoly hammock tarp built for campers who want dependable protection without the premium price. Its hex profile sheds rain and wind while keeping pack weight low. Because it uses sil-poly instead of nylon, it resists stretch and barely absorbs water. As a result, it stays taut and dries fast after a storm. At well under a pound, it disappears into any pack. Weather Protection Without the Weight Designed for three-season camping, this Silpoly hammock tarp covers you when the sky opens up. Its hex shape blocks driving rain and channels wind around your hammock. It is a smart pick for backpackers counting ounces. Meanwhile, the canopy packs down small enough to forget it is there. So you get reliable coverage without lugging a heavy shelter. A Stretch-Resistant Silpoly Hammock Tarp At the heart of this tarp is a 20-denier sil-poly canopy. Unlike nylon, it soaks up very little water, so it will not sag overnight. Reinforced 210-denier panels add strength where stress runs highest. In addition, the included seam-sealing kit lets you lock out moisture along every seam. For floor protection on wet ground, pack a packable ground cloth. Reinforced Tie-Outs and Clean Rigging Four perimeter tie-outs and two ridgeline points give this Silpoly hammock tarp a secure, adjustable pitch. Plus, Beastee D-rings at every connection make rigging quick and dependable. We place the tie-outs to shed runoff away from your hammock, not onto it. Pair it with a set of tree straps for fast, repeatable setups at any site. A Hex Hammock Tarp Sized for You We cut the Quest tarp specifically for hammock use, with a roomy baseline and wide center. Choose an 11-foot or 12-foot ridgeline to match your suspension and coverage needs. Therefore, you can scale protection to the conditions you expect. If you want full doors for winter storms, step up to the Journey instead. Either way, the fit feels dialed for hanging. Build It Around Your Trips Make this Silpoly hammock tarp your own by choosing your color, ridgeline length, and tie-out hardware. You can also add optional panel pull-outs or the Quest Accessory Kit for a complete setup. Because every Quest ships with a seam-sealing kit and stuff sack, it is ready for the field. Wherever you pitch your Silpoly hammock tarp, follow Leave No Trace principles to keep the backcountry wild.
