Cassis captures the luscious essence of blackcurrant liqueur, blending the juicy, slightly tart aroma of ripe blackcurrants with a silky creaminess that adds an irresistible sweetness. This vibrant note enhances the edibility and addictive quality of any fragrance. Rooted in Northern Europe and celebrated in Burgundy, France, blackcurrant has been cherished for centuries, finding its way into perfumery in the 1970s. Its fresh, fruity, and tart complexity brings depth and elegance to modern scents. Cassis offers a rich olfactory profile, balancing blackcurrant's brightness with creamy nuances and subtle herbal and floral undertones, making it an enchanting addition to any composition. GERANIUM Geranium is a richly complex note, often compared to the sweet scent of rose but distinguished by its zesty lemon balm brightness, minty spice, and sharp green undertones. Native to South Africa, where it thrives in deep shades of purple and red, Geranium is also cultivated in Egypt, Morocco, and China. Its velvety leaves, coated in oil-rich glandular hairs, release their fragrant essence through steam distillation before the flowers bloom, preserving their freshest aroma. In some cases, volatile solvents are used to obtain an absolute, capturing even richer nuances of this remarkable ingredient. Geranium’s unique balance of floral sweetness, citrus zest, and green sharpness secures its place as a timeless cornerstone in perfumery.
