[ Queens Kings ] 2000 High Pro

This Queens Kings High Pro pays tribute to a brief but unforgettable chapter in New York baseball history. Built from 100% cotton with a structured high-profile crown and slightly curved bill, the hat pairs a vibrant teal crown with a rich purple visor, reflecting the bold, expressive identities that began to reshape minor league branding at the turn of the millennium. The embroidered “Queens” script wordmark rises across the front, subtly outlined in gold and finished with the Kings' crown. A stitched batting King on the left side and matching purple snapback closure complete the design, capturing the energy of a team whose look was ahead of its time. The Queens Kings represented a brief but notable chapter in New York’s minor league history, taking the field in 2000 as the short-season Class A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays in the New York–Penn League. The club played its lone season in Queens before the franchise relocated to Brooklyn in 2001, where it became the Brooklyn Cyclones. During their single year of existence, the Kings featured future MLB All-Star Alex Ríos, adding a major league connection to the team’s short run. Though the Queens chapter lasted just one season, it remains a distinct moment in the city’s evolving minor league landscape.
