The queen catcher is a great tool to have around for those times when it's just a good idea to grab your queen when you see her and put her aside in the shade while you work the hive. (The metal queen catcher shown is out of stock.) Queen marking tubes and pens are a wonderful low-stress way to mark your queen. Catch the queen into the tube then gently hold her steady against the screen with the soft plunger. The mark color for 2024 is green.
