Queen Elizabeth Rose

Rosa 'Queen Elizabeth' is a grandiflora rose admired for its glowing pink, lightly fragrant, medium-large, full blooms that can reach up to 4 inches in diameter and hold up to 40 petals. Bearing cupped flowers in small clusters or singly on long, nearly thornless stems, Queen Elizabeth grandiflora rose is ideal for cut flower arrangements. Vigorous and disease-resistant, the regal and majestic ‘Queen Elizabeth’ rose reigns supreme in the garden. A tall, upright shrub with large, glossy dark green leaves, Queen Elizabeth bears clear pink blossoms that bloom in flushes from late spring through fall. When this rose was introduced in the U.S. in 1955, it was so unique that a whole new class, the Grandiflora rose, was created, establishing ‘Queen Elizabeth’ as the sovereign of her class. Grandiflora roses combine the best traits of a floribunda and hybrid tea rose into a robust and taller shrub with showy blooms in clusters of three to five.
