All Crystals and Stones will have variations in color, shape and size. Pictures are approximations of color, shape and size. Rose quartz is a mineral composed of silicon dioxide with trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese, which give it its characteristic pink color. Its cloudy appearance is due to microscopic fibrous inclusions of a pink borosilicate mineral, likely a form of dumortierite. Scientifically, it's a variety of quartz that forms in pegmatite rocks or hydrothermal veins, and its color is stable and not dependent on harmful radiation.  Chakras: Heart Emotional: Aids in releasing past wounds, teaches trust and hope. Rose Quartz is the pure stone of love - for oneself, one's partner, children, family, friends, community, the Earth, the Universe and the Divine.  Spiritual: Encourages spirituality of love, links one with the Great Mother. Its soothing vibrations are a balm to emotions, and they calm and cleanse the entire auric field. Healing the heart of its wounds and reawakening its trust are among Rose Quartz's gifts.  Physical: Supports the heart in healing from trauma and/or disease.
