Quartz Geode with Hematite from Morocco | Crystal Specimen

This pinkish red quartz geode features a tiny cavern of sparkling crystals, and is surrounded by brown-red matrix, offering a gorgeous color contrast from the crystals inside. The crystals get their color from inclusions of iron-rich hematite. This collector's crystal specimen was sourced from the El Kelaâ des Sraghna Province of Morocco, which is world-renowned for its minerals and especially quartz geodes.  It measures 5 x 4 x 5 inches, making it perfect for a shelf, tabletop display or even in a display cabinet.
