Quartz Geode (2 halves)

A very aesthetic piece featuring two halves of an Amethyst Geode. The pink-purple Amethyst crystals are on a colorless Quartz which itself is on a layer of translucent, light-gray Chalcedony. The color, luster and contrast is impressive. To see two matched halves displayed is an eye-catcher. When the two halves are put together, it’s hard to imagine there’s any value in the piece - just looks like a dirty, ordinary rock - but once it’s opened it’s a great piece.
