KWI QRS HD Float Mod for Can-Am Defender & Commander

KWI QRS HD Float Mod for Can-Am Defender & Commander ⚠️ Important Installation Requirement: This product requires you to send both your primary and secondary clutches to KWI for installation, as the Float Mod must be performed in their shop. The KWI QRS HD Float Mod for Can-Am Defender and Commander is the ultimate solution for correcting the clutch alignment problems found in factory QRS-style CVT systems. These machines suffer from the same misalignment issues seen in the Can-Am X3 platform, causing the drive belt to ride unevenly across the clutch sheaves. This misalignment leads to secondary clutch spin at idle, hard shifting, excessive belt heat, and premature belt failure. The QRS HD Float Mod fixes these problems by machining the secondary clutch to allow it to float on the shaft, letting it self-align with the primary clutch during operation. In addition to the floating secondary system, the service includes sheave resurfacing and KWI Roller upgrades, ensuring consistent belt contact, smoother engagement, and long-term clutch reliability. Whether you're using your machine for work, hunting, trail riding, or recreation, this upgrade dramatically improves drivability and clutch efficiency. Key Features Corrects factory clutch misalignment issues Secondary clutch machined to float and self-align Improves belt contact and power transfer Reduces belt heat and premature belt failures Includes sheave resurfacing for consistent engagement Upgraded KWI Rollers with lifetime warranty Designed for Can-Am Defender and Commander QRS clutch systems Performance Benefits Fixes Factory CVT Alignment Problems The QRS HD Float Mod allows the secondary clutch to move slightly on the shaft so it can naturally align with the primary clutch under load. Benefits include: Smoother shifting Reduced belt wear Improved drivetrain efficiency Lower Belt Temperatures Proper clutch alignment improves belt contact across the sheaves, reducing friction and lowering operating temperatures. Improved Throttle Response With better belt alignment and clutch efficiency, power is transferred more effectively to the drivetrain, resulting in improved throttle response.
