Q-Zone Queen Pro - 10-Foot Rolling Rail Quilting Frame

Ready to quickly load and quilt tops up to 103-inches, on a rolling rail frame that allows you to quilt across edge-to-edge? It's time to meet the upgraded Q-Zone Queen Frame - the Queen PRO! Stitch Across 103 Inches with this 10 Foot Quilt Frame! If you've been quilting for any length of time, you know the frustration: you piece a beautiful queen-size quilt top, and then you have to figure out how to quilt it. Dragging it through a home machine is exhausting. Sending it out costs money and means giving up control of your own work. The Q-Zone Queen Pro solves this problem. It's a 10-foot rolling rail quilting frame designed specifically for quilters who want to quilt bed quilts at home easily - using a longarm or large sewing machine, on their own schedule, with their own creative choices. The Queen Pro handles quilt tops up to 103 inches wide. That covers twin, full, and queen-size quilts — loaded once and quilted start to finish by rolling it across the rails. How Big is the Q-Zone Queen PRO frame? This 10 foot quilt frame will require more space to set up in your sewing room. Measure your space to see if you have room to go pro! Is your space too small to fit this frame right now? Click Here to see if the Q-Zone Queen Frame will fit your sewing room instead. Which Machines Work on the Queen Pro Frame? Grace Company quilting frames are designed to grow with you, starting with the home sewing machine you use right now! This is a Singer Heavy Duty 6800C, which has only a 6.4 inch throat space. Ideally you'll want to use a sewing machine with at least a 9 inch throat. However, if this is what you have right now, yes, you can begin frame quilting with a machine this size! Make sure to select "Add Chariot Carriage" when ordering your frame and we'll include the Chariot to hold your sewing machine as shown in the picture above. You can also use the following Grace longarm quilting machines: Little Rebel (13-inch throat sewing machine) Grace 16X Longarm Machine Grace 16X Elite Longarm Machine Grace 19X Elite Longarm Machine Using a Grace Company quilting machine will be so easy on this frame. The wheels are designed to fit the bottom carriage and you can easily start and stop quilting using the controls on the handlebars. Another cool feature of the Queen and Queen Pro frames - the legs are adjustable so you can set up these frames for standing or seated quilting. Do you have another brand of longarm quilting machine? The Q-Zone Queen Pro is an expanded version of the Q-Zone Queen Frame. Where the standard Queen is an 8-foot frame that handles quilt tops up to 83 inches wide, the Queen Pro extends to 10 feet and opens up 20 additional inches of quilting width — enough to handle a queen size quilt top with room to spare. But it's not just about size. The Queen Pro quilting frame includes these additional accessories: Cloth Leaders Included! — 12 foot cloth leaders are included with the Queen Pro frame, which you will trim down to fit this 10 foot frame. Pin the backing fabric to the leader cloth using Magic Longarm Pins, or sew in accessories to your leader cloth like Magnum Magnets or Red Snappers to speed up the loading process. Back Table Inserts — Would you like to quilt pantographs? This frame comes with back table inserts so you can quilt from the back of the frame, tracing pantograph designs. Larger front clips —  Designed for floating your quilt top over the front rail, the larger gray clips on the Queen Pro give you a reliable hold across the width of the frame. Thicker rails — Queen sized quilts and thick batting are heavy! The thicker round rails on the Queen Pro frame provide the extra support needed to hold bigger quilts.  Think of it this way: the Q-Zone Queen is a wonderful frame for the smaller quilts you're making now. The Queen Pro frame will take you to the next level - quilting bigger quilts with the same easy rolling rail loading method that allows you to quilt edge to edge in one pass. You can begin with a Q-Zone Queen Frame, using the sewing machine you have right now. Then when you're ready, you can upgrade to the Queen Pro Frame by simply purchasing this Upgrade and Extension Kit.  You can also change machines anytime - to a larger sewing machine like the Little Rebel sewing machine or a Grace longarm quilting machine. My advice: think about the quilts you want to make over the next five years, not just the ones you're working on right now. Most quilters who start with the Q-Zone Queen will eventually upgrade and expand to the 10-foot Queen Pro frame. If bigger bed quilts are anywhere on your list, the Queen Pro is worth the investment from the start. What to Expect When Your Queen Pro Frame Arrives When you purchase the Q-Zone Queen Pro frame from this page, you will receive the boxes for the Q-Zone Queen Frame and the 2-Foot Pro Extension Kit.  Make sure to open the Extension Kit box first. You'll follow the assembly manual within that upgrade box to assemble your frame. Yes, you will have leftover pieces! Some parts from the Q-Zone Queen like the frame rails, tracks, and track supports will not be used for the Queen Pro frame.  Assembly typically takes 1 day. Set aside a good block of time, order pizza and ask a friend or family member to help when lifting the frame on its feet. You'll be quilting on your new frame before you know it. Loading a Quilt on the Queen Pro One of the biggest advantages of a rolling rail frame is how quickly you can attach the backing, layer on the batting and quilt top and begin quilting. Here's the basic approach: Cut your backing fabric at least 6 inches larger than your quilt top on all sides. Find and mark the center point of your backing fabric and align it with the center of the leader cloth on the take up rail. Attach the backing fabric to the rail using your favorite method: the easiest and cheapest method is to pin using sturdy longarm pins.  For extra speedy quilt loading, you can modify your leaders with Magnum Magnets or Red Snappers. Roll up the backing fabric until it's bouncy-tight — no wrinkles, but don't stretch it too tight as that can cause skipped stitches and thread breaks. Layer on your batting, baste it to the backing, then add your quilt top and baste that down. You're ready to quilt! Roll your machine to the left and begin stitching left to right. Yes, you can quilt right to left too, but most machines simply prefer the left-to-right direction. Can the Queen Pro Quilt a King-Sized Quilt? This is a great question, and the honest answer is: no, the Queen Pro frame cannot fit a king-sized quilt. A standard king size quilt top is 108 inches wide. The Queen Pro's maximum quilt width is 103 inches — five inches short of what you'd need for a king. If you load a king top onto this frame, the needle on your machine will not be able to quilt the edges. If quilting king size quilts at home is your goal, you will need a 12-Foot Evolution Elite Frame. That frame can handle quilt tops up to 120 inches wide, which covers king and even oversized king sizes comfortably. Ready to Finish Your Quilts Faster? The Q-Zone Queen Pro is the frame I'd recommend to any quilter who has a queen size quilt on their to-do list — which, honestly, is most of us. It's an investment that opens up your quilting in a way that's hard to fully appreciate until you have a big quilt loaded and ready to go. Have questions before you order?
