TYPE: Whiskey SIZE: 750mL ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 43% ABV/86 proof PROCESS: This is the first whiskey Boston Harbor Distillery produced upon opening the distillery in 2015 and celebrated it’s first release December 2017. It’s made grain-to-glass on location mashing in 100% two-row malted barley and pure water from the Quabbin Reservoir , distilled in our Vendome copper pot still with a registered serial number 1776, aged in new, white American Oak 53-gallon barrels that were toasted and heavily charred, and bottled at 86 proof.  Putnam New England Whiskey has a uniquely Boston accent! EXPERIENCE: Putnam New England Single Malt has a big rich taste — smooth, complex with lots of character. It has a lingering finish of chocolate and coffee notes. Sip neat, with a few cubes or even in a cocktail.  This whiskey is proof that Americans can make great malt whiskey too!   AWARDS:  91 POINTS - "Exceptional" "Dark copper color.  Aromas of fresh baked croissant, pumpernickel, and chestnut with a round, vibrant, fruity medium-full body and a tingling, comlex, very long cherry preserves, grilled pear, herb butter, toasted marshmallow, saddle soap, chocolate-hazelnut spread, and fresh mint finish.  A spectacularly complex and dense American Single Malt Whiskey that offer incredibly well-integrated flavors and a deliciously satisfying finish; buy this."
