Purposeful Plate

The Ahimsa Purposeful Plate is designed for growing kids ages 5 and up, when appetites expand and independence takes hold. Created by a pediatrician and mom, this 9” stainless steel dinner plate gives older children the same trusted Ahimsa safety in a versatile, open design that feels “grown-up.” Unlike plastic, bamboo, or silicone plates that can warp, stain, or leave a soapy taste, the Purposeful Plate endures through years of real family use. Beautiful enough for family dinners, durable enough for daily use, and safe enough for the people who matter most. Features: Pediatrician-designed & MADE SAFE® certified — trusted by families and proven to be free from harmful chemicals.  Premium 304 stainless steel — durable, non-toxic, and safe for everyday meals. Mirror-polished finish & vibrant colors — beautifully reflective and joyful hues created through a safe titanium PVD process with no paint or powder coatings.  Dishwasher-safe & built to last — easy to clean, endlessly reusable, and strong enough to be passed down for generations. Dimensions: 9" round Ahimsa was founded by Dr. Manasa Mantravadi, a pediatrician and mother of three, who set out to make safer mealtime products after learning about the risks of plastic and melamine in children’s dishware. Guided by science and a commitment to improving the health of our kids, Ahimsa creates premium non-toxic, sustainable stainless steel kids dishes designed to nurture healthy habits for life. Each Ahimsa stainless steel kids dish is free from BPA (and all bisphenols), PVC, phthalates, lead, siloxanes, melamine, and formaldehyde.
