Purple Velvet Underglaze is a soft violet color at cone 05 and becomes increasingly bluish and lighter at cone 5 and at cone 10. A clear glaze over Purple will accentuate the color at cone 05 and cone 5, and cause more blue tones at cone 10. Safety Warning Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
