Purple Turquoise Description: Purple turquoise, also known as "Mohave purple turquoise," is a composite stone created by infusing natural turquoise with purple dye, often stabilized with resin for durability. This vibrant purple gemstone retains the characteristic veining of turquoise, creating a striking and unique appearance. It is a popular choice for jewelry, offering a colorful twist on the traditional blue turquoise. Fun Fact: Purple turquoise is not naturally occurring; it is crafted by treating and dyeing blue turquoise, giving it a unique and vibrant color. Despite being a modern creation, it has quickly gained popularity in the jewelry market for its striking and unconventional appearance. Artisans often enhance its beauty with gold or copper veining, making each piece of purple turquoise jewelry one-of-a-kind. Natural variances are part of the beauty of our genuine stones.
