This medium sized linen pouch is hand embroidered with what is known as the “Gaza Necklace” pattern which has historically been the pattern of embroidery used on the chest panel of traditional thobes (dresses) of Gaza. As the name implies the embroidery drapes around the neckline of a dress like a necklace. Zipper top and lined. Dimensions: 10" x 6" x 2.25" Khoyoot (threads) is a non-profit organization that aims to empower women in Baqa'a refugee camp in Jordan and to support them to create products which preserve their beautiful Palestinian heritage.
