Anthurium Border Hand Painted Half Size Sarong

Anthurium Border Hand Painted Half Size Wrap — the one that lives in your beach bag Half size means it ties at the hip and stops around the knee, so you can walk from the water to the snack bar without dragging wet fabric through the sand. Women buy this one when they want cover without a full-length wrap swallowing them. It rolls into nothing, so it stays packed in the beach bag all season and comes out whenever the sun gets serious. Dimensions — approximately 22" wide by 68" long (half size) Colour — Anthurium Border Purple Fastening — hand carved coconut shell buckle included, no knot-tying required Finish — rolled seam edge Fabric — 100% rayon, hand painted, imported Label — Casual Movements How This Fits There are no sizes to choose here — 68 inches of length wraps most figures with overlap to spare, and the buckle takes up whatever slack is left. At 22 inches wide it sits as a short wrap: hip to roughly knee on an average height, a little longer on a shorter frame. Rayon has weight to it, so it hangs straight down instead of billowing. If you want something that covers to the ankle, this is the wrong length — go full size instead. Wear It For Hotel pool decks, the walk down to a Maui beach, a catamaran morning, or thrown over a swimsuit for a casual lunch. It also works as a shoulder shawl in over-air-conditioned restaurants, which is the second use most customers find within a week. Care Machine or hand wash on a gentle cycle in cold water, then hang to dry. Keep rayon out of a hot dryer — it will not thank you for it. Why Shop MauiShirts? Do I need to know how to tie it? No. The coconut shell buckle does the work — thread both ends through and adjust. Can I wear it as a shawl instead? Yes. At 68 inches long it drapes across the shoulders easily, which is how a lot of customers use it after dark. Will it hold up to salt water and pool chlorine? Rinse it in cold water and hang it dry after each swim day and it will keep its colour.
