Pureway-C® Plus™ - 120 Capsules

Jigsaw Health Pureway-C® Plus™ New and improved. Don’t worry...it’s still the same great clinically tested Vitamin C (as Pureway-C) and still includes L-Lysine, but Jigsaw has added something else to make it even better and more effective — Quercetin.* Quercetin is a bioflavonoid that is complimentary to Vitamin C and helps promote immune function, heart health, and skin health!* But that’s not all...Jigsaw is using a special form of Quercetin that uses a proprietary delivery system to enhance absorption of Quercetin, which makes it more effective than ordinary forms in promoting better immune, heart, and skin health!* Lysine, or L-Lysine, is an essential amino acid, which means that it is necessary for human health but cannot be made by the body. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Lysine is important for proper growth, and it plays an essential role in the production of carnitine; a nutrient responsible for converting fatty acids into energy. Lysine appears to help the body absorb and conserve calcium, and it plays an important role in the formation of collagen.* Lysine supports a healthy immune system response. Taking Lysine supplements can support recovery time. Lysine also plays a role in supporting arterial health. Lysine is one component of a protocol proposed by Linus Pauling to promote optimal heart and immune health.* Pureway-C is a clinically tested form of Vitamin C shown to outperform other leading forms of Vitamin C. Research studies in vitro and in humans show that Pureway-C is more rapidly absorbed and more highly retained in the human cells resulting in faster, more beneficial effects than other brands.* Pureway-C combines ascorbic acid with several types of lipid metabolites (fats derived from vegetable sources) and bioflavonoids (antioxidants) to enhance bioavailability. Lipid metabolites, function as carriers of the ascorbic acid to increase intestinal absorption, allowing Vitamin C to enter the cells quickly for enhanced cellular uptake. Bioflavonoids greatly contribute to the antioxidant capability of Pureway-C® as well as enhanced absorption in the intestinal tract.* Ingredients  Serving Size: 2 Capsules Amount/Serving  Vitamin C (as Pureway-C®) 1,000 mg L-Lysine (as hydrochloride) 100 mg Other Ingredients: Veggie Capsule (as hypromellose), Organic Nu-Flow® (rice extract, as anti-caking agent), Microcrystalline Cellulose (plant-based insoluble fiber used as an anti-caking agent), Citrus Bioflavonoids (as part of Pureway-C® to enhance action of Vitamin C), Fatty Acids (as part of Pureway-C®), Lecithin (aids in absorption), Maltodextrin (as carrier) and Silicon Dioxide (anti-caking agent).
