PURE Stainless Steel Food-Grade Grid Plates

PURE Stainless Steel Food-Grade Grid Plates are little works of art. Because each grid is individually made, instead of being cut from a sheet of perforated metal, we are able to make smooth-sided grids that are gentle on your fingers with no sharp edges. In addition to smooth sides, we also custom-designed the hole pattern on sizes #6, #8, #10 & #12 to maximize the open area of the grid and allow more pulp to flow freely through each grid. We have also created the grids with specific produce in mind.  The #8 and #10, work best with carrots and apples while the #10 and #12 are best for greens. We also have found that with greens, the larger grids keep the pulp markedly cooler throughout the triturating process, cold press juicing at is best. Grid Plates are the most under-appreciated parts of two-stage juicing, but PURE appreciates their value and the PURE Juicer comes with eight grids. Many of our customers find it handy to have duplicates or triplicates of the sizes they use the most.  We have made it simple to identify each grid, by numbering them for easy identification. And if you are curious, the grid number is equal to the size of the opening, for example, the #10 has a 10mm opening. NOTE, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ORDER THE CORRECT GRID SIZE. THE DEFAULT SIZE IS #12. MAKE SURE TO OPEN THE DROP DOWN AND SELECT THE DESIRED SIZE. Sizes: #2 - $12.50 #3 - $12.50 #4 - $12.50 #5 - $12.50 #6 - $12.50 #8 - $12.50 #10 - $12.50 #12 - $12.50 Sets: #2, #3, #4, #5, 4pc set - $24.50 #6, #8, #10, #12, 4pc set - $24.50 #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #8, #10, #12, 8pc set - $48.50 We recommend #10 and #12 as spare parts when juicing celery, fibrous vegetables, bulk juicing noncommercial use. Tip: Sometimes with the larger grids you may see some kickback of produce. If you are having a problem simply reduce the grid size and that should help.
