But at its heart, Pure Gold is a fragrance that revolves around the bright zest of citrus. The base dries down to a soft, creamy cashmere wrap of scent that lingers all day. It's one of our favorite pretending-to-be-Brigitte-Bardot fragrances. Bright, lighthearted, and effortlessly sophisticated. Notes include neroli, Egyptian jasmine, Italian mandarin, apricot, white musk, vanilla, and patchouli.  Montale is the creation of Pierre Montale, who worked as an official perfumer for the Saudi royal family before returning to Paris to introduce Western perfume lovers to the rich world of Middle Eastern perfumery ingredients.
