"Carolyn Denham and Roderick Field began Merchant & Mills in 2010 with the intention of bringing style and purpose to the overlooked world of sewing."  We feel they hit the mark!  Each one of their notions is thoughtfully designed with old-world quality and a modern aesthetic.  Pure beeswax potted with a lid. Ideal for needle threading and 3 million other uses. Beeswax is traditionally used by tailors to strengthen thread when hand sewing buttonholes. Keep it by the sewing machine and pull your thread across it a couple of times before snipping off the thread end and it will be as easy as pie to get the stiff neat end through the machine needle.
