Pumpkin Seeds, Roasted

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds (Pepitas) Roasted pumpkin seeds are the edible, nutty kernels that are removed from pumpkin when preparing it for cooking recipes or decorating purposes. These kernels often are referred to as pepitas as they are out of the shell. Roasted pumpkin seeds (pepitas) can be a healthy and satisfying snack on their own or added to other dishes. They are a great source of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. You can sprinkle them on top of salads, soups, or chili for an added crunch and flavor. They can also be added to granola bars, trail mix, or used as a topping for yogurt or smoothie bowls. In addition to being a tasty snack, roasted pumpkin seeds can also be used in cooking for a nutty flavor. They can be ground and used as a substitute for breadcrumbs in meatballs or as a crust for fish or chicken. They can also be used to make pumpkin seed butter or added to bread, muffins, or other baked goods for an added crunch and nutrition. For your convenience, Mount Hope offer this in 1, 5, 20, and 25 pound bulk packs.
