Pumpkin Hojicha

Hojicha is green tea that has been roasted over charcoal rather than steamed. It’s typically made with more mature leaves and sometimes twigs. We love its deep, toasted, nutty flavor, it lends the perfect amount of warmth to our fruity chocolate.  We blended the ground tea leaves straight into our 58% cacao Dominican dark chocolate, along with pumpkin. We think the PSL ought to scoot over and make room, because this pairing tastes like the epitome of everything we want from a fall treat. It tastes like warm chestnuts, hot chocolate, and pumpkin pie all in one.
