Pullman Big Step Tamper

Channeling often occurs around the sides of the portafilter, which is a common complaint we hear about with average-sized tampers. The Pullman Big Step tamper utilizes the broadest size possible for edge-to-edge tamping to eliminate the chance of channeling. Made of high-quality stainless steel, the Big Step base is built for a busy café. However, It still does need to be handled with care to protect the rim of the base from damage. We recommend storing your tamper on a soft tamping mat in between use. Each Big Step tamper includes three handle spacers to personalize your tamper's height to fit your palm just right.  Excellent to pair with the Pullman 876 Filtration Basket or IMS Precision Basket for La Spaziale to perfect your espresso routine at home.
