Public Public Research Snowboard 2025

Ready for season two and here to stay by popular demand, the Public Men's Research directional freeride board features cutting-edge technology from Public that will satisfy your all-mountain desires. With a directional shape and 8mm taper, this board allows for effortless floating in even the deepest of snow. The all-new Carbon V Stringers in the tip and tail add extra pop and stiffness without any additional weight. Complete with a ridiculously speedy sintered base and a Poplar Light Core that embodies a true freestyle spirit, the Public Men's Research Snowboard is your ticket to exploring every inch of the mountain. PROFILE: Mountain Alert Camber - Mainly cambered profile with early rise in tip for increased float and easy turn initiation. SHAPE: Twin FLEX: Medium Flex CORE: Poplar Light Core - Premium core with strategically placed paulowina wood to reduce weight and maintain a snappy feel. Hardwood under bindings helps prevent board breaks. CARBON V Carbon Stringers are strategically placed in a V pattern in the tip and tail for increased response from the binding to the contact point. This gives the board endless snap in and out of turns and an overall increase in pop. CARBON STRINGERS A 20mm wide carbon fiber stringer running tip to tail to increase overall pop and response without increasing torsional flex to keep the board feeling lively and nimble underfoot. Carbon stringer is the most effective way to add pop without increasing weight. BASE: Sintered Base Rather than melting polyethylene pellets together (extrusion), sintered bases are manufactured by crushing the pellets together under high pressure. This makes a sintered base more porous for maximum wax absorption, and more abrasion resistant. In other words it makes the board faster and more durable! SIDEWALLS: Urethane sidewalls are used in all PUBLIC boards for their superior dampening properties compared to the industry standard ABS and P-tex sidewalls. Urethane sidewalls are more durable against impact on rocks or rails to prevent your board from delaminating when you get caught slippin' in the park or backcountry
