PoE-T100 - PoE and DC Inline Tester

Description Features Downloads FAQ Customer Videos Now, available on Amazon! The PoE-T100 PoE and DC Inline network tester is a must-have tool for network engineers and IT professionals. This PoE tester tool supports PoE, PoE+, PoE++, Passive PoE (802.3af/at/bt), and DC power (12-57V), making it ideal for troubleshooting and installation. With its self-powered design, it requires no batteries or external power, drawing energy directly from the tested PoE source. Our PoE tester features three testing modes: PD Mode, which simulates a powered device to verify PoE capabilities. Inline Mode, which allows direct pass-through monitoring between PSE and PD and DC Mode, which measures DC voltage, current, and power. It displays real-time power consumption, voltage, current, polarity, and PoE standard to ensure seamless network diagnostics. Equipped with a bright OLED display, these network cable tester provides clear, at-a-glance readings of all critical power parameters on a single screen. It identifies End Span and Midspan configurations, helping network technicians quickly detect and resolve PoE-related issues. The device also differentiates between standard and non-standard passive PoE, preventing incorrect power configurations. Compact and easy to use, the PoE-T100 poe tester tool is an essential tool for verifying PoE sources, monitoring power levels, and diagnosing network power issues. Whether you’re an installer, IT technician, or network administrator, this tester simplifies your workflow and enhances troubleshooting efficiency. • Self-Powered Operation: No external power or batteries are needed, our poe tester draws power directly from PoE or DC. Supports PoE (802.3af/at/bt), PoE++, Passive PoE, and DC power supplies (12–57V) for accurate network troubleshooting and testing. • Accurate Power Readings: Network cable testers display voltage, current, power, and polarity for 2 or 4 pair PoE devices. Differentiates between standard (36–57V) and non-standard (12–57V) passive PoE, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of network setups. • Inline & PD Testing: This network tester supports two modes; PD Mode (simulates a powered device up to 802.3bt), Inline Mode (pass-through testing between PSE & PD), and DC Mode (measures DC supply voltage, current, and polarity for non-PoE power sources). • Bright OLED Display: Featuring a clear, easy-to-read OLED screen, network tester ethernet shows real-time power, voltage, and current measurements on a single page. Instantly identify PSE type, power levels, and inline power usage for quick and efficient diagnostics. • Essential for PoE Troubleshooting: Perfect for installers, network engineers, and IT professionals, this poe tester tool accelerates PoE device installation and troubleshooting by providing critical power data in real time, reducing downtime and misconfigurations. PoE-T100 PoE & DC inline Tester User Manual Q: I see a switch with an option for only 2 modes. How can it test PD, Inline, and DC? A: The switch allows you to select between PD or Inline mode. However, for DC operation, the mode selection does not matter; it will automatically detect DC when the jack is plugged in. Q: Is there any setup required before using the PoE-T100 for the first time? A: No setup is necessary. It's designed for plug-and-play use. Q: Does it support testing for reverse polarity in DC mode? A: Yes, the PoE-T100 can handle DC inputs regardless of polarity. It will display the polarity of the tip and ring of the barrel jack. Q: How does the PoE-T100 handle different types of PoE? A: The tester differentiates between standard PoE (36–57V) and non-standard passive PoE (12–57V), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of network setups and preventing misconfigurations. Q: Does it support testing for reverse polarity in DC mode? A: Yes, the PoE-T100 can handle DC inputs regardless of polarity. It will display the polarity of the tip and ring of the barrel jack. Q: Does the PoE-T100 need batteries or external power to operate? A: No, it features Self-Powered Operation, drawing power directly from the PoE or DC source being tested, thus eliminating the need for batteries or external power.
