PERRIN 13-16 Subaru BRZ / 13-16 Scion FR-S Black Cold Air Intake

Perrin Cold Air Intake Red 2013-2016 BRZ / 2013-2016 FRS | +5 HP Gain | Performance Intake System Overview The Perrin Cold Air Intake for 2013-2016 Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S is a precision-engineered upgrade designed to increase horsepower and enhance engine sound without requiring any tuning. This intake system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube and a high-flow oiled foam filter positioned behind the front bumper. By drawing cooler, denser air away from the heat of the engine bay, it improves combustion efficiency and throttle response for enthusiasts seeking a reliable power boost. Engineered with exact MAF sensor alignment and optimized tubing diameter, the Perrin intake maintains proper air-fuel ratios to prevent common issues like engine bogging or check engine lights that can occur with less refined aftermarket intakes. The CNC mandrel-bent aluminum tubing features smooth bends and a performance pinch that allows for a direct fitment through the engine bay without any cutting or trimming. Finished in a durable red powder coat, this intake combines functional design with a visually striking underhood presence. For Subaru BRZ and FR-S owners, this intake offers a subtle yet aggressive induction sound that remains quiet during normal driving but delivers a deep, throaty growl under load. The additional 5 horsepower gained from this setup enhances everyday driving and spirited runs alike, making it a practical and effective upgrade that complements the platform’s balanced chassis and naturally aspirated engine. Installation is straightforward and requires no ECU recalibration, preserving factory reliability and drivability. Features & Specifications This Perrin Performance Cold Air Intake is engineered specifically for the 2013-2016 Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S platforms and features CNC mandrel-bent aluminum tubing with a precision-machined MAF bung.
