Pseudo Squirrel Strips

Pseudo Squirrel Strips Pseudo Squirrel Strips are a synthetic alternative to rabbit that let you build dense, high-movement streamer bodies in seconds. Each strip has a tapered, lifelike fiber structure that collapses on the strip yet flares beautifully in the water, giving your flies the profile of natural fur without the weight, water retention, or inconsistency. These strips are ideal for bulked-up heads, articulated bodies, blended collars, and any pattern where you need volume without stiffness. Available in natural frosted tones for realistic baitfish and crustacean patterns, as well as loud neon colors for warmwater predators. At 2 yards per pack, they deliver strong value and fast tying speed for commercial-grade flies. HOW TO USE • Wrap directly as a body to create dense, breathable streamer profiles. • Palmer forward for game-changer style segments, collars, and composite loops. • Combine with flash, craft fur, SF blends, or synthetics for layered, translucent streamer bodies. • Excellent for tying large warmwater patterns without the heavy, water-logged feel of rabbit.
