Providence

by Paul A. Stauder, S.J. Providence is a reflective and faith-driven exploration of the Catholic understanding of God's divine providence and the virtue of trust in His plan. Through the story of Grandma Brown, whose prayers to see the sea are answered in an unexpected way, Stauder illustrates how faith in God's will—especially during times of trial and uncertainty—can bring peace and spiritual strength. The book emphasizes that while God may not always grant our wishes in the way we expect, His ultimate concern is the salvation of our souls, and everything He allows or withholds is for our eternal good. Drawing on Scripture, Church teaching, and examples of saints like St. Joseph Pignatelli, Stauder encourages readers to maintain trust in God's wisdom and love, even in adversity, and reminds them that true success lies in reaching Heaven. 24 page booklet.
