Protekt® Aire 6000

Protekt® Aire 6000: Advanced Pressure Relief Mattress The Protekt® Aire 6000 is a specialized mattress system designed to help prevent and treat pressure ulcers (bedsores). It combines two key therapies: Low Air Loss: This gently releases air through tiny holes in the mattress, keeping the patient's skin cool and dry, which helps prevent moisture-related skin breakdown. Alternating Pressure: The mattress cells periodically inflate and deflate, constantly shifting pressure points on the body. This improves blood circulation and relieves prolonged pressure on any single area. This system is a top choice for healthcare professionals due to its ability to effectively redistribute pressure. It's also recognized by Medicare under cod. Key Features: Smart Pump: The easy-to-use digital pump allows caregivers to customize alternating pressure cycles (10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes). It also has a "seat-inflate" feature for patient comfort in an upright position, quick inflation ("auto firm"), and a "static" mode for stable support when getting on or off the mattress. It includes alarms for low pressure, power failure, and alternating failure. Safety Mattress Design: The unique "cell-on-cell" design ensures that the bottom four inches of the mattress stay inflated even if there's a power outage, preventing the patient from bottoming out. Comfort & Protection: The mattress features 18 laser holes for ventilation, a fluid-resistant, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial nylon cover for hygiene and comfort, and a "pillow top" to stabilize the head and neck during alternating therapy. Additional Options: It's available in an 84-inch length and can be ordered with optional raised side rails for added safety. Capacity & Warranty: It supports patients up to 450 lbs and comes with a 2-year warranty.
