Protégé | Portable Sheet Music Stand

Wire stands have had a long run. Too long, probably. Most musicians know the routine: the wobbly legs, the bent desk, the sharp edges, the slow collapse in the middle of rehearsal. At some point, you stop calling it portable and start calling it a compromise. The Protégé 2.0 was built for the musicians who are done making that compromise. It is our lightest and most portable stand yet — designed to move easily from lesson to rehearsal to gig, without bringing the frustration of a wire stand with it. Built on the same solid-metal tripod foundation as our larger stands, the Protégé 2.0 pairs real stability with a newly designed foldable desk for easier carry and faster setup. At just over 4 pounds, it feels substantial where it matters and light when it is time to pack up. The Superior Pro Clutch tripod design keeps adjustment smooth and secure, while the powder-coated metal construction gives the stand the kind of reliability musicians notice immediately. Collapsed down to 18 inches and packed into its rugged carry bag, it is compact enough for the road and strong enough for the set. Add compatible accessories, and the desk can expand to hold 4–5 sheets of music when you need more room for the score. The Protégé 2.0 is for musicians who want to travel light without setting up on something flimsy. Portable, stable, and built with more backbone.   COMPATIBLE WITH PORTASTAND PRODUCTS: Bow Clip Universal Shelf Extensions Wind Resistors Sidekick & Super Sidekick tripod accessory clamps INCLUDES: Protégé 2.0 all-metal, fully foldable desktop & tripod Convenient & rugged carry bag Long-needed closure after way too many wire stand nightmares TECH SPECS: Desk Dimensions: 21"W x 12.5"H x 1.5"D Extended Desktop Width: 29" Height Range: 20" to 58" Collapsed Length: 18" Extended Tripod Radius: 24.8" Weight: 4.1 lbs Adjustable desk angle of 180 degrees
