Protecto 8 oz

Affirm Protecto is the first step in the innovative four-step system designed to provide maximum scalp comfort and enhance the hair's overall health during the relaxing process. Specially formulated to moisturize dry hair and scalp, Affirm Protecto ensures that the hair remains manageable and smooth before, during, and after chemical treatment. The key to Affirm Protecto's effectiveness is its patented organic BiocompHlex, which is applied along the entire hair shaft, especially focusing on the new growth areas. This product uses rich, positively charged compounds that attach electronically to negative sites on the hair shaft, ensuring deep penetration into the fiber during the relaxing process. By working in conjunction with the high pH levels during the straightening process (pH 13.0-13.5), Affirm Protecto effectively conditions the hair, repairing trichorrhexis nodosa (damaged areas along the hair shaft) and resulting in smooth realignment of the hair fibers. This repair mechanism also helps to eliminate flyaway, split ends, and minimizes shedding. It makes wet combing significantly easier, enhancing manageability. Benefits: Moisturizes and conditions dry hair and scalp Eases wet combing and minimizes shedding Repairs damaged areas (trichorrhexis nodosa) Smooths and realigns hair fibers, reducing flyaway and split ends Ensures optimal scalp comfort before relaxing Directions: Apply evenly along the entire hair shaft and new growth area prior to relaxing.
