Protective Rattlesnake

This serpentine snake by Reynold Lunasee has inlaid jet eyes. It has ten turquoise dots inlaid on it body.  It is coiled and its tail is raised as if ready to strike, protecting itself and maybe you?   Size: 1.5" H x 2" W x 1" L Snakes are strong, agile, and fast.  Sinuous in their movements, they are only seen when they want to be seen.   They remind us to be flexible no matter what is happening around us, to be aware, and ready to move when necessary. They shed their skins as they grow without sentiment for what they leave behind.  Traditionally, Zuni carvings are symbolically fed cornmeal.   Each Zuni fetish comes in a box with a descriptive card and a tiny bit of corn meal to tide them over until they reach you.
