Protect Me

The concept of the evil eye has been present in many cultures throughout history. In Armenian culture, the belief in the evil eye dates back to ancient times. It is believed that some people have the ability to cast an evil gaze or stare, which can cause harm or misfortune to those who are targeted. According to Armenian folklore, the evil eye is usually cast unintentionally by people who are envious or jealous of someone else's success, good fortune, or beauty. This envy can be so powerful that it creates negative energy that is projected onto the target, causing harm or bad luck. To protect themselves from the evil eye, Armenians have developed various rituals and talismans. One such talisman is the nazar, a blue and white eye-shaped amulet that is believed to deflect the negative energy of the evil eye. The nazar is commonly worn as a necklace or bracelet, or hung in homes and cars as a protective charm. The candle is made from a blend of coconut and apricot wax and features a light crackling wooden wick, creating a warm and comforting ambiance when lit. The candle is intended to be enjoyed in the home as both a decorative and protective item. The use of this candle is a modern adaptation of traditional Armenian practices to protect oneself from negative energy, and it serves as a physical representation of the belief in the power of positive energy and protection.
