The Prospector Mix contains approximately 2 gallons of rough mine ore and is our basic gemstone mix. It includes a variety of gemstones from various locations mixed in with our crushed local mine ore. The mine ore is a white colored Pegmatite rock containing Feldspar, Quartz and Mica. The gems are found scattered throughout the white ore and may include: Amazonite Amethyst Aventurine Aquamarine Carnelian Agate Citrine Emerald Fluorite Garnet Jasper Kyanite Moonstone Pyrite Rose Quartz Ruby Sapphire Smoky Quartz Sodalite Topaz Tourmaline Unakite and more! The second photo shows an average find of mixed gems once sorted out of the white rock. The Prospector Gemstone Mix weighs approximately 20-25 pounds. It is shipped in a bag in a box using USPS Priority Mail for 2 to 3 day delivery to most US addresses. We include a full-color gem identification chart in the box and a bonus piece of Mica.
