Prospector 96

Built for the backcountry, a blast at the resort. Want to go out in the backcountry some days, and still use a chairlift on others without having to buy a whole different set of gear? This ski will do it all with ease - Winning athlete hearts and the Editors Choice award from Backcountry Magazine! It's built for the backcountry and touring to be light on the uphill and stable on the down, whether it's turns you earn or lift-served.  It's made with our signature maple, poplar and beetle-kill pine wood core and a light-weight fiberglass for superior on-snow feel. We also use the most durable base material available for inevitable backcountry rock encounters. We offer the Prospector in 96 in our ready-to-ship collection and 106 in our build-to-order collection to find a float for every skier.   All of our skis are handmade in Denver, CO at the Meier Craft Skiery and are backed by a 3-Year warranty. Base and sidewall color on ski may vary. LOCAL NOD: A Prospector explores areas looking for mineral deposits, in our case white gold.
