GreenEase Drop Seeder for Proptek Trays

Drop Seeder for Proptek Trays Proptek vegetable propagation seed and plug trays are designed to produce consistent, high-quality plants by encouraging the development of strong, natural root structures. Thanks to their injection-molded construction, Proptek trays often feature more cells, allowing growers to produce more plants in the same amount of space compared to traditional Styrofoam or thermoformed trays. They are available in a range of sizes and cell volumes to meet diverse growing needs. The trays are easy to clean and sterilize without deforming and have an exceptionally long lifespan, providing an excellent return on investment over time. Proptek Trays Why Choose? Our drop seeder is specifically designed to work seamlessly with Proptek trays, providing accurate seed placement that pairs perfectly with their deeper cell design. This integration streamlines the sowing process, minimizing wasted effort and rework while maximizing efficiency. Performance and Compatibility  The GreenEase Drop Seeder is compatible with all Proptek trays. We will support more and more of their cell counts as time proceeds. Additional Insights  Using this drop seeder with Proptek trays eliminates the hassle of re-seeding and delivers consistent, reliable results every time. To achieve optimal performance, we recommend using pelleted seeds when available, as static buildup on the plates can affect tiny, non-pelleted seeds. If static is an issue, any commonly available staticide will fix it. Choosing a Top Plate The GreenEase Drop Seeder has interchangeable top plates with precision-sized holes to accommodate a variety of seed sizes. Each top plate is designed with one specific hole size to ensure optimal performance for different crops. This allows you to achieve accurate and consistent seeding, whether you're planting tiny basil seeds or larger spinach seeds. The chart below outlines the recommended hole sizes and seeding guidelines for various crops, helping you select the right top plate for your needs. This makes the GreenEase Drop Seeder even more versatile and reliable, enabling precise seed placement across the wide range of Proptek tray configurations. By tailoring the seeder plates to seed size, you'll minimize re-seeding and ensure uniform germination. Want to learn more?
