Why choose an oil free cleanser? It can be a difficult battle to sway clients away from using their oil-based skincare products near their eyes, despite the damage it is causing to their eyelash extensions. Why should they have to choose between wearing long lashes and taking care of their skin? Thankfully, there is an answer that won't require them to make such a sacrifice! First, let's learn how oil impacts eyelash extensions  Lash extensions are secured with cyanoacrylate, a skin-safe glue that is vulnerable to oil - even small amounts of the substance can dissolve lash adhesive and cause lasting damage. When using oils and oil-based products, the lash extensions will be weakened before their intended shed date and gain oil build up. The bond between natural lashes and extensions becomes weak which can cause clumping and sticking of eyelash extensions to each other. This disruption in the growth cycle of your natural lashes should be avoided at all costs by abstaining from oily products near your eyes causing oil build up. The Prolong cleanser is an oil-free solution that ensures the health of your natural lashes and increases the longevity of your extensions. Plus, it's powerfully effective in keeping dirt away from the eye area to significantly minimize any chances of developing infections and leaves you with soft subtle skin!
