The Prok Persimmon Tree is one of the most popular and dependable American persimmon trees for sale, valued for its large, nearly seedless fruit, early ripening, and exceptional flavor. This premium grafted female American persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) is an excellent choice for home orchards, wildlife plantings, food forests, and hunting properties, delivering both high-quality fruit and strong wildlife attraction. Prok Persimmons produce medium-sized fruit (1.25–1.5 inches) with a rich orange-red color and a honey-sweet, nutty flavor. When fully ripe, the flesh develops a smooth, custard-like texture, making Prok one of the best edible American persimmon varieties for fresh eating and culinary use. This early-ripening persimmon tree provides reliable production before many late-season varieties come on. Thanks to professional grafting, Prok Persimmon trees bear fruit in just 2–3 years with proper care. Trees grow vigorously to a mature height of 30–50 feet and are cold hardy in USDA Zones 5b–9, making Prok a top-performing cold-hardy persimmon tree across much of the United States. Persimmons are extremely versatile and can be enjoyed fresh, dried, or cooked, and are widely used in jellies, pies, puddings, drinks, curries, and traditional recipes worldwide. For growers seeking a low-maintenance, high-yield American persimmon tree with outstanding flavor, early production, and proven adaptability, the Prok Grafted American Persimmon delivers the premium performance and reliability expected from Chestnut Hill.
