Sewers of the World by Vernakular is a project that examines the diversity and beauty of the ubiquitous, yet overlooked sewer covers we find all over the world. Vernakular has scoured over 75 cities and 20 different countries (and counting), in search of the most unique and interesting sewer covers. PROJECT NYC This coaster features something that everyone has been asking for... This is an image of a sewer cover taken in the Riverdale neighborhood in Bronx, NY. How do we know it's the Bronx? Well, I did some research and "B of B" actually stands for Borough of Bronx! So there you have it! With its high gloss, the imagery on the coaster is stunningly realistic, appearing almost three-dimensional. A great conversation piece. It can endure up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit heat. MDF wood Cork Bottom 3.74" in diameter 0.12" thick Wipe clean. Do not use in the dishwasher. Made in our studios in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
