Profusion

Giclee canvas print with hand-applied varnish; framed in a natural wood floating frame. 57 x 38 x 2in. (framed) Profusion is a study of joyous abundance—a lush landscape of movement, color, delicate linework, and butterfly-like bursts. The work can be interpreted as a celestial map of form in the process of a beautiful, vibrant dissolution. Gold and black linework wanders like a coastline, tracing the silhouette of a presence that is expanding beyond its own edges. To me, it represents the essence of nurturing the things that we love so that they can thrive—from our internal landscapes to our children to our care of the planet. It is a map of what happens when we allow our truest essence to overflow, proving that a dedicated environment of care results in an experience that is breathtakingly alive.
