Prodigy Audio 1200 watt 15 inch Subwoofer | NB5 Series

Prodigy Power. Proven Performance. The Prodigy Audio NB5 15" Subwoofer is a high-performance driver engineered for those who demand authority without sacrificing control. Sitting at the top of the NB5 lineup, this 15-inch monster is built to shift massive amounts of air while maintaining the thermal stability required for prolonged high-output sessions. Whether you are chasing trophies in the lanes or building a violent daily driver, the NB5 series delivers the low-end extension and reliability needed to dominate the sub-30Hz spectrum. Advanced Inductive Control & Thermal Management At the heart of the NB5-15 is a massive 280 oz ferrite motor structure optimized with a large inner pole and integrated Faraday shorting rings. This design drastically reduces inductive distortion, ensuring a smooth impedance curve and tight, musical response even at high excursion. The 2.75-inch flat aluminum voice coil provides superior surface area for heat dissipation compared to traditional round-wire coils, supported by a radial-vented motor gap that forces air across the windings to prevent thermal compression. Built for the Extreme Durability is non-negotiable in high-SPL environments. The NB5-15 features a heavy-duty cast aluminum basket that doubles as a heat sink, a competition-grade treated paper cone, and a high-roll foam surround for 27mm of linear one-way Xmax. With 40mm of forward X-mech clearance, this woofer is designed to withstand mechanical stress that would destroy lesser drivers. Finished with chrome 4AWG push terminals and stitched double tinsel leads, every component is selected for maximum current delivery and longevity.
