Pro-Tec Athletics 3D Flat Calf Support

The Pro-Tec Athletics 3D Flat Calf Support is designed for active individuals dealing with minor to moderate calf tightness, soreness, or strains who want dependable compression without sacrificing mobility. Its anatomical construction provides firm, supportive pressure around the calf while remaining flexible enough for running, court sports, training, walking, and other everyday activities. Pro-Tec uses Flat Knit technology to create a more precisely shaped support than a basic tubular sleeve. Specialized knitting allows different areas of the fabric to be formed with varying structure and tension, helping the support conform closely to the natural shape of the calf. This three-dimensional fit helps distribute compression around the muscle while providing a secure, streamlined feel. The sleeve delivers 20–30 mmHg of medical-grade compression. This higher level of compression is designed to provide substantial support to the calf muscles while maintaining enough flexibility for natural movement. The close-fitting construction can be especially useful when you want additional stability during activity without the bulk of a more rigid support. Multi-directional stretch allows the fabric to move with the lower leg as the calf contracts and extends. Whether you're accelerating on the court, running, walking, or moving through a workout, the sleeve is designed to maintain consistent support without unnecessarily restricting your range of motion. Breathability is another important part of the design. The knit fabric promotes airflow to help reduce heat buildup around the lower leg, making the 3D Flat Calf Support better suited for extended activity and warmer conditions. The combination of ventilation, flexibility, and firm compression creates a support that can remain comfortable even during demanding movement. Proper sizing is based on the circumference of the mid-calf rather than shoe size. Measuring the calf at its widest or mid-muscle area helps ensure the sleeve delivers the intended level of compression and stays securely positioned. For athletes managing calf tightness or returning to activity after a minor strain, the Pro-Tec Athletics 3D Flat Calf Support provides a combination of contoured compression, breathable comfort, and freedom of movement in a low-profile sleeve. Frequently Asked Questions What is the Pro-Tec Athletics 3D Flat Calf Support designed for? It is recommended for minor to moderate calf tightness and calf strains and is designed to provide compression and support around the calf muscle. How much compression does it provide? The sleeve provides 20–30 mmHg of medical-grade compression. What is Flat Knit 3D shaping? Flat Knit construction uses specialized knitting techniques to shape the fabric so it follows the natural contours of the calf. This creates a more anatomical fit and helps distribute compression more effectively. Will it restrict movement? The support is designed with multi-directional stretch so the calf can move naturally while still receiving firm compression and support. Is the fabric breathable? Yes. The knit material is designed to promote airflow and help keep the lower leg more comfortable during activity. Can I wear it while exercising? Yes. It is designed for active use and can be worn during activities such as running, walking, training, and court sports. How do I choose the correct size? Measure the circumference around the middle of the calf muscle and use the following size ranges: Small: 11.5–13 inches Medium: 13–14.5 inches Large: 14.5–16.5 inches X-Large: 16.5–18.5 inches Should I size based on shoe size? No. Sizing for the 3D Flat Calf Support is based on mid-calf circumference rather than shoe size.
