The raised nail socket on the hook will guide the nail into the wall at the proper 45-degree angle. Avoid overhammering as it can compromise the hook’s holding power and damage your wall. To remove, pull the nail back at a 45-degree angle with a slight twisting motion using fingers or soft-faced pliers. Prying it away with a screwdriver or a similar tool will often damage the wall surface. To reuse, ensure the nail has not been bent or deformed.
