Private Wheel Throwing Refresher Session 30 Minutes

This session is intended for students who just need a quick refresher on wheel techniques. This is a good option for those who already know how to throw and are just stuck at a step or need a short tutorial session.   *Members must use their own clay and be set up prior to the session.  If you do not have experience, you must choose the 90 minute option.  30 minutes is not enough time to learn the wheel.  Lessons will take place in our main throwing area. You do not need to bring anything to the session as all materials, tools, aprons and towels are provided. You may wish to bring a change of clothing as you will get muddy.   Some topics may include: Coning up and down, opening the clay, pulling walls How to make specific forms (bowls, tall vases, double walled forms, trimming, mug handles etc.)  Clay will be provided for the purposes of the lesson.  Studio members may return to trim and glaze their pieces.  If you are not a studio member, additional slots must be scheduled for you to complete your pieces.   Re-scheduling requires at least 2 hours advanced notice.
