This course is rooted in research-based occupational therapy practices that support healthy handwriting and fine motor development in early childhood. Letters are presented in stroke families. Activities are intentionally designed to strengthen underlying writing skills such as bilateral coordination, motor planning, visual-motor integration, crossing midline, and pencil grasp development. Using developmentally appropriate, play-based learning through extension invitations, the course supports children as they progress from tracing and copying letters to independently writing words and very short sentences with growing confidence. This course carefully supports proper handwriting habits, confidence, and writing readiness. Perfect for kindergarten learners, emerging writers, and children who benefit from additional fine motor support, this course helps establish a strong foundation for lifelong handwriting success and written expression.
