Principles of Destruction

The Principles of Destruction is your chance to learn how Ben Seidman obliterates every audience. This multi-phased killer routine was derived from Ben's desire to engineer a stage/parlor performance piece that is so impactful, it literally destroys people's brains. After years of performing and refining every detail, he's teamed up with Vanishing Inc. to finally share one of the absolute best routines he's ever created. It's a bit of an understatement to label this as simply just another "routine". The Principles of Destruction is a fully fleshed-out, breathtaking experience that guides your audience through an escalating sequence of impossibilities, culminating in a mind-bending finale that makes people leap out of their seats. Every step has been carefully polished to ensure your audience has no rational explanation for the miracle they've just witnessed. First, a chosen card rises from the deck (using a clever method you'll absolutely love). This card is then placed in their hand, where it vanishes and then reappears beneath them. For the final phase, you catapult the routine to a new level that will genuinely break everyone's brains. Your participant tears a corner off their card and retains it as a receipt. You then take the rest of the card and, with your sleeves rolled up, make it vanish in front of their eyes. Another audience member is instructed to stand up and discovers that the card has teleported into their pocket. The torn corner matches perfectly, and they can keep everything. You'd be foolish to pass this off as just another card trick. The Principles of Destruction is a masterclass in seamlessly blending basic techniques (no body loads required) with ingenious principles to create a level of deception that transcends reality. The secret lies in Ben's ability to flawlessly blend multiple dual realities that all work in unison. When combined with some of magic's most powerful effects (Rising Card, a Vanish, and Transposition), you can create an unforgettable experience that will stick with your audience long after you've left. The Principles of Destruction will make you reconsider everything you thought you knew about dual reality. It pushes the boundaries of everything you thought was possible. You'll walk away with a potent new weapon you'll use well beyond this routine. Everything is concisely explained alongside precise illustrations in this remarkable hardcover book printed by Vanishing Inc. You'll also get a special bonus video in which Ben shares additional handlings and expert insights that will help you maximize the impact of this world-class performance piece. This exceptional, practical routine is perfect for stage or parlor shows and is adaptable for audiences ranging from 25 to 2,500 or more. It requires minimal props. In fact, if you omit or substitute the Rising Card phase (which Ben explains) you can perform the whole thing out of your pockets.
