Princess Feather Quilt

This Princess Feather quilt is unusual in that the applique is done all in one color. Most often, several colors were used. In addition, the quilt is done solely with a teal blue/ green on white. It is in excellent, never washed condition. One can still feel the sizing in the fabric. The background is quilted with diamonds and a feather pattern used along the border. The feather resembles the arms of the Princess Feathers. The quilt is in excellent condition with one small, light spot about the size of a dime near an edge. Measurements are 74 inches square. Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1890.
