Pressensor Bluetooth E61 Group Pressure Sensor

Pressensor Bluetooth E61 Group Pressure Sensor The Pressensor is an app-connected pressure sensor that gives real-time data on the pressure of water flowing through the puck during an extraction. The device is easy to install—it screws directly into the E61 group where it monitors the pressure—and integrates with smart espresso scales to provide a whole suite of information that gives you more control over your extractions than ever before. Features & Benefits The Pressensor is designed to help you better understand and interact with your extractions. Once connected to the app, it actively reports pressure at the group in real time, giving you access to valuable data that helps you recreate exceptional shots by allowing you to visualize how pressure changes throughout your extraction. When combined with an E61 Flow Control Device, the Pressensor allows you to record and easily repeat unique manual profiles in a way that a traditional pressure gauge never could. The Pressensor is also compatible with a wide range of smart espresso scales, including the Acaia Lunar, which allows you to visualize even more data to fine-tune your extractions further.  Compatible Scales: *Acaia (all models), Decent Scale, DiFluid Microbalance, *Eureka Precisa, Felicita, Goat Story Gina, *Hiroia "Jimmy", Skale II, Solo Barista, *Varia AKU (bluetooth models with updated firmware). (*Available from Whole Latte Love) Why You Should Get It The Pressensor unlocks a new dimension of understanding of your shots, making it an essential tool for the home barista on a quest for the perfect extraction and those excited about experimenting with ways to develop different flavors in the coffees they brew.  How To Install Installing the Pressensor is quite easy, just make sure your machine is completely cool before you do it. First, unscrew the plastic housing on the device and install the included battery before replacing the housing. Then, using a 5mm allen key, unscrew the bolt in the front of your E61 group—you may notice some water leaks out when you do this. That’s completely normal and why you want to make sure the machine is cool. Alternatively, if there’s already a pressure gauge there, just unscrew that instead. Finally, screw the Pressensor back in where the bolt was and you’re good to go!  Note: the Pressensor does NOT come with an Allen key—you’ll need to get that separately.
